What is Suboxone®?
Suboxone is an opioid antagonist medication used in medication-assisted treatment (MAT). It is designed to have a lower risk of dependency than methadone and is available in two forms: a tablet and a sublingual film.
MAT is an effective way to help people beat addiction, but it should not be the only part of your recovery plan. A complete MAT plan also includes substance abuse counseling and regular primary care.
